The goddess, protector of woods and game, is shown here with all her habitual attributes: the moon in her hair to recall her role as a celestial deity, at her feet the dog which was sacred to her, the bow in her left hand and the arrow in her right, recalling her role as terrestrial deity and goddess of hunting.
