Hercules and the Hydra
This group is set at the entrance to the little bridge and shows Hercules, with his right arm raised and bearing the club, engaged in combat with the three-headed Hydra. The group portrays the second of the labours of Hercules against the Lernean monster that terrorised Argolis killing men and beasts.
