This ancient Latin goddess mentioned by Pliny was venerated along with Pan, Silvanus, Picus, Vertumnus and the Satyrs. She presided over the ripening of the fruit and the cultivation of gardens. In this sculpture she is shown as a young woman, seated, with a cornucopia laden with fruit.
