ANIMATIONS AND LABORATORIES (from 1 March to 31 October – free)
Inside the Park, the animators of the Nasolungo group take place:
Didactic Laboratories, change their contents adapting to the age of very young visitors, with laboratories of paintings, masks, decorations, ecc. (to contact Nasolungo telephone 0039 3396491097 for information and bookings);
1) Contastorie or entertainments with Puppets;
2) Stories and mini magic in the Carriages of the Fairies;
3) Face Make-up with personalities of the children’s fantasy (payable);
4) Photos in costume in the Atelier of Pinocchio (payable). ( SEE PRICES SECTION)
THE EPOCH ROUNDABOUTS (from 1 March to 31 October)
Under the holm-oaks, in the assigned relaxing zone, from 2004 one finds the historic roundabouts, that go back to various periods between 1800 and 1850, recuperated thanks to the collaboration of Antonio Buccioni, and installed in the play area.
The merciless evolution of technology, the change of tastes and fashions had decreed their end. Accurately restructured by able craftsmen (a particularly valuable intervention by Gionata Francesconi, maestro tank-man of Viareggio Carnival, and those of Stefan Zarkov, Urbano Lazzari and Graziano Filippelli), in respect of their original and modern structure and security requirements, conserved all the poetry, freshness, the ingenuity of enjoyment of a time.
1) The Ponies (from which appears a Pinocchio-coachman),
2) the Shimmy roundabout Ring-a-ring-a-roses of Toy Cars,
3) the Mechanical Toy Theatre of Pinocchio (a Carriage surrounded by a craft-made and animated mechanical toy theatre that dedicates a scene to every chapter of the book, accompanying them with a summary in very minute writing),
3) the Venetian Lagoon Roundabout (rare and beautiful tournament with gondolas and gondoliers in wood) offers children of today the possibility to understand forms of enjoyment by now disappeared but not certainly outdated in the spirit that had enlivened it. THE LABORATORY OF WORDS AND FIGURES
In this construction, created by Giovanni Michelucci one finds:
1) art exhibitions of Pinocchio (provisional – free – all year);
2) the Great Carillon, a “generator of sounds” entirely mechanical hung in a Pod that contains it (free – all year);
3) the Genealogy of Pinocchio, many reinterpretations of Pinocchio according to characters of “other fantasies” (free – all year);
4) the Fabulous Cloud, a world of silk and tulle, of carpets and cushions, of sounds and sensations for small ones (free – all year);
5) the Enlarged Reality (payable – from 1 March to 31 October - SEE PRICES SECTION), a virtual interactive reality in a large tent, where one can play with Pinocchio, with water, with animals…
6) The path of whispers (all year - free)
Covering the long path of the exit from Park, new sound sensations await the visitors.
