Name of the work: the Terrible Dogfish
Creator: Marco Zanuso
The pond is dominated by the impressive and frightening figure of the Terrible Dogfish, a sort of tilted dome beneath which are threatening rows of sharp teeth.
The shark, with decorations by Augusto Piccoli is at once a terrifying image of the unknown and the site of unexpected happiness: inside its stomach, immobile and resigned, is Geppetto, but Pinocchio arrives to save him and finally father and son are reunited.
